New Nokian TRI 2 sizes: Tender and soft green area maintenance and grassland farming

The blockpatterned Nokian TRI 2 is a reliable partner for modern-day farmers and equipment contractors. Good grip, high load-bearing capacity and a pleasant driving feeling facilitate contractors' routines throughout the year. The new low-profile sizes in the 65 range are designed for conditions that call for exceptional sensitivity and a wide contact area from the tyre. Typical uses include, for example, green area maintenance and transports related to grassland farming.

Compared to tyres in the 80 range, the new tyre, with its bigger airspace and increased width, gives more load-bearing capacity in situations that require a lower contact pressure and sensitive contact. The wear resistance has also improved. Nokian TRI 2 is at its best when the machine is simultaneously used for driving and working. The new sizes designed for mid-range tractors, road maintenance machinery and environmental maintenance machinery - 480/65 R28, 540/65 R28, 600/65 R38 and 650/65 R38 - will be available in September.

The tread pattern and strong construction ensure that the Nokian TRI2 wears evenly and offers users up to twice as many efficient working hours as its competitors with a traditional open-centre tread design. A pleasant and stable passenger car-like driving response makes highway travel easier and increases traffic safety. Grip is further enhanced by the fact that the tyre cleans itself easily.

The Nokian TRI 2 is known for its environmental friendliness. It is easy on the ground and cleans effortlessly, ensuring that machines do not carry soil onto roads. Similar to all Nokian Heavy Tyres products, the Nokian TRI 2 is manufactured without harmful high-aromatic oils. Only purified, low-aromatic oils are used in the rubber compounds. The environmental friendliness of the tyre is further enhanced by low tyre noise and a low rolling resistance, which reduces fuel consumption.
