Nokian Nordman Forest F – Reliable and cost-effective solution for forestry machines

In February 2013, Nokian Heavy Tyres is introducing the Nokian Nordman Forest F tyre for forestry machines. It is a new type of cost-effective solution for forestry. The price and quality ratio of this new product has been optimised without compromise in terms of reliability or functionality. The strong, reliable structure of the Nokian Nordman Forest F is familiar from all the quality tyres that Nokian Heavy Tyres already manufactures.

- The new Nokian Nordman Forest F was born from customer demand. We wanted to introduce a tyre that would be easy and functional for customers to use when they need a spare tyre that works reliably under demanding conditions, or a competitive alternative for a forestry machine that is being overhauled. The Nokian Nordman Forest F answers this need, says Jarkko Heinämäki, Product Manager for Forestry Tyres at Nokian Heavy Tyres.

The Nokian Nordman Forest F employs a purpose-designed rubber compound that gives the tyre excellent cut and puncture resistance, even under extreme conditions. The strong, reliable tread structure also ensures high load-bearing capacity and good wear resistance. The tyre’s operating hours are optimised for used machines.

The product development of the Nokian Nordman Forest F is based on the most popular product on the market, the Nokian Forest King F. The latter’s tread model has been found to be especially functional when used with tracks.

The same tracks and chains are compatible with both the Nokian Forest King F and the Nokian Nordman Forest F. The recommended rims and inner tubes for the Nokian Nordman Forest F are the same as for its design basis, the Nokian Forest King F.

The first size, 710/45-26.5 PR 20, will be introduced in February 2013.
