Nokian Tyres is introducing three new car tyres i.e. Nokian Hakka Z and Nokian Hakka SUV summer tyres as well as a winter tyre Nokian Hakkapeliitta R SUV. The tyres have been developed for the demanding weather and driving conditions in the Nordic and Russian markets. Nokian Hakka Z and Nokian Hakka SUV tyres complete the Nokian Hakka summer tyre family, the first tyres of which (Nokian Hakka V and Nokian Hakka H) were launched to the consumer sales for the very first time in the spring 2007.
Nokian Hakka Z summer tyre is developed for sporty cars and for high speed driving. The tyre represents the top category tyres i.e. the ultra high performance (UHP) tyres. The product range includes approximately 30 W-speed rated (270 km/h) and Y-speed rated (300 km/h) alternatives from 16 inched to 20 inched tyres. The consumer sales of these tyres will begin in the spring 2008.
Nokian Hakka SUV is developed for middle-sized city jeeps and all-terrain vehicles in the rapidly growing SUV markets. The wide product range covers the most popular vehicles sold in the Nordic countries. The consumer sales of the tyre will begin in the spring 2008.
Cost-free Hakka warranty increases confidence
The structure of the Nokian Hakka summer tyre is firm and the tyres do not damage if used appropriately. Both novelties include a variety of innovations that improve tyre safety and driving comfort. Nokian Tyres grants a Hakka warranty for all Nokian Hakka summer tyres. The tyre that has been used appropriately and mounted correctly will be replaced, if the tyre is damaged in the normal use. The consumer will get a new similar type of tyre free of charge in any tyre store selling Nokian branded tyres in Finland, Sweden or in Russia.
The third novelty Nokian Hakkapeliitta R SUV completes the Nokian Hakkapeliitta winter tyre family. The tyre is a Nordic type non-studded winter tyre designed for city jeeps and all-terrain vehicles and developed for snowy and icy roads. The limited consumer sales will start already during the latter part of the year 2007, and in full speed in Nordic countries, Russia and other core markets in 2008.
