The Nokian Z SUV tyre is the winner in the 2012 SUV tyre test of German car magazine "Auto Zeitung" (12/2012). Its "first place overall" is an outstanding result: "Very good on wet surfaces, safe handling characteristics, low rolling resistance. And the Nokian is good value".
The winner's vital "wet-test results" demonstrate its excellent performance: "It could hardly be better. The Nokian is a wet-weather specialist. Top for brakes and steering. Very fast, very safe". The "off-road test results": "Good-natured handling characteristics and optimum traction in the mud." Regarding the Nokian Z SUV's convincing win, the "Auto Zeitung" SUV tyre test report says, "The tread pattern from Finland owes its clear lead in the overall standings to its very low rolling resistance, acceptable off-road characteristics and excellent driving safety in all handling disciplines. However, the Nokian's developmental edge is primarily noticeable on the wet handling track.
