Be prepared – don't let the winter surprise you!
Variable and increasingly demanding winter conditions have become more common in Europe during the past couple of years. By preparing for the winter in advance, you can ensure traffic flow and safety. Product Development Manager Teppo Siltanen from Nokian Tyres answered some questions on how to prepare for the winter and what should be taken into consideration when selecting the tyres.

Nokian NTR tyres are now available in 17.5"
Nokian Tyres' selection of truck and bus tyres for year-round use has increased and now includes a new size, 17.5 inches. Nokian NTR 32, Nokian NTR 45 and Nokian NTR 72 tyres offer cost-effectiveness and safe mileage for professional drivers.

A renewed range of truck and bus tyres
Nokian Tyres has renewed its truck and bus tyre selection in order to provide even better service for customers. The new product grouping makes it easier for a customer to select the right tyre for a specific purpose or conditions. The product range covers everything from tyres for highly demanding winter conditions to tyres for cost-effective year-round driving.

Nokian Noktop Hakkapeliitta D – superior grip for heavy traffic
The legendary Nokian Hakkapeliitta winter tyre range now encompasses retreaded tyres as well. The union between the triumphant Hakkapeliitta, celebrating its 75th anniversary, and Noktop, a favourite among heavy traffic professionals, culminates in the Nokian Noktop Hakkapeliitta D, a new winter traction tread that offers superior winter grip especially for long-distance cargo and bus traffic.

Protecting the environment without sacrificing safety – retreading of truck tyres
The transportation industry has been afflicted lately by cost pressures. At the same time concern for the environment creates new requirements for the equipment. By retreading used tyres we can reduce transportation costs and protect the environment.
